Q: What is the difference between Flex Dollars and Pete's Points?
A: Both of these are forms of payment that can be preloaded onto your student ID card (if you purchase a Meal Plan that includes Flex and Pete's,
those amounts are automatically loaded onto your card). Each form is a dollar for dollar exchange; Example: 100 Pete's Points = 100 Dollars;
100 Flex = 100 Dollars. Every time you purchase something, the amount is deducted from your balance.
The difference between the two is that Flex Dollars are accepted at all YSU Dining locations on campus, while Pete's Points are accepted at all campus dining locations, as well as at select locations off campus.
Flex dollars and Pete's Points carry over, if not entirely used, from Fall to Spring semester as long as there is a purchased meal plan in the Spring. Flex Dollars and Pete's Points do not rollover during the summer.
